Information on Kattanaita
Hi! I’m Kattanaita, the Brazilian pink jaguar. I always wanted to be a writer. I self-published 10 books, and though they’ve all been lukewarm releases, the last one was such a major flop I thought it was time to invest in my personal life and got a job, a house, and, well, a life.
Turns out that did not satisfy me or made me happy. I love writing. Planning and design are my strong points, and my skills are better suited as a project lead, but I can do a little bit of everything.
In the last couple of years I was a creative consultant for Reign Under, and I did all the layout and planning alongside Zodd95. I am also the project lead for the comic strip Gaypardo. In the latter, I am way more involved in all aspects of production, being responsible for writing, lettering, layout, social media and also designing the website.
This project alone showcases the range of my abilities, both creatively and in skills. Character development is my strong suit when it comes to writing, but design and planning are also very high up in my skill set.
I’m a very creative person and I love technology. I love learning about new technologies and finding creative ways of making use of them to create something unique.
My current project, Gaypardo, is a great showcase of those skills. You can not only enjoy the comic strip in a convenient format for both desktop and mobile devices, but you can also replace the text on the panels with your own and easily share your custom strips with friends. I saw an opportunity with the technology that was available to me, and I took it. I had never seen it before, and while I don’t claim to be the one to have invented it, this is just an example of how I take the tools that are available to me and try to make something unique, fun and useful out of it.
